Currently Scott can be seen & heard gigging 3-7 nights per week (see gig schedule ) throughout the southeast on: Bass & Vocals with the Rock-Funk-Jazz Trio Hipshack, the Jeff Hartman Band as well as Church of the Beloved and other groups. Tenor Sax, Bass and Keyboards with the Scott McCloud Group as well as recording for such Grammy winning producers & studio engineers as Dallas Austin & Carlton Lynn. Scott also teaches Jazz History & Music Appreciation at Central Piedmont Community College.

The Scott McCloud Trio released a self-titled CD in 1998. Jazz Times Magazine favorably reviewed "The Scott McCloud Trio" in its May 2000 Jam Band issue. Scott has performed with talented artists including Edwin McCain, Slide Hampton, Wycliffe Gordon, Galactic, University of North Texas Lab Bands, the Jon Thornton Swing Thing, the Mighty Mighty Men, the Mark Rapp Funk Ensemble, Scott Jeffrey's Band, the Joe Silva Band, Groove Posse, Sugar Coated Sweet, the Entertainers, the House of Funk and Hipshack. |
