Hipshack  -  (Brian Burton-Drums,  Jeremy Shaw-Guitar/Vocals & Scott McCloud-Bass/Vocals) is a Rock-Funk-Reggae-Soul-Jazz-Jam-Variety POWER TRIO.

Performing the music from such artists as : James Brown, the Police/Sting, Sly and the Family Stone, Gnarls Barkley, Van Halen, Stevie Wonder,  Led Zeppelin, Bob Marley, Black Sabbath, Dave Matthews Band, Eric Clapton, SRV, Jimmi Hendrix, Stone Temple Pilots, Prince and John Mayer to Maroon 5,  John Scofield, the Funky Meters, the Red Hot Chili Peppers,  John Coltrane, Duke Ellington  and Miles Davis. These educated and talented musicians tightly incorporate a large variety of styles to create the unique groove of Hipshack.

 


 


 

 

NOTE These musicians are "full time" professional  working musicians hailing from Charlotte, NC.  All band members are college educated  with undergrad and master degrees in  ALL Styles of music - these guys are the "real deal."  Hipshack has also won the honor of being acknowledged in Modern Bride Magazine as one of 150 best Wedding Bands for hire in the USA 2005-2008!!

 

Outside of performing in hundreds of clubs, colleges, festivals, corporate events and venues throughout the United States, Hipshacks' most recent successes include: Performing throughout the Unites States for Microsoft, the Carolina Panthers, the Charlotte Bobcats,  the United States Tennis Association, ESPN/Tennis Channel, the US Open, Davis Cup and Fed Cup Tournaments, performing in the Farrelly Brothers movie—”SHALLOW HAL”  as well as  opening and performing for such artists as:  Edwin McCain, Michael McDonald, Steely DanJack Black, Mother’s Finest, Charlie Hunter, Mr. Ray Charles & Regina Belle. Showcase performance for the New York International Independent Film Festival at Madison Square Garden (The band won Best Movie Soundtrack for “a Bettor’s Life”),  APCA Regional & National Showcases).
